The Bulgarian holiday Black Sea coast is home to a variety of cultural and entertainment events.

Kavarna, 25 mins from Sarnino holiday villa and The Old School House Hotel at Vasilevo, is fast becoming one of the centres of musical life for your holiday in Bulgaria, with concerts by Black Sabbath, Nazareth, Saxon, Deep Purple, the Scorpions, John Lawton, Testament, Alice Cooper and many bulgarian bands.  In Nessebar 10 mins walk from our  Sunny Beach apartments, Simply Red, Sting, Anastacia, and Nazareth.  In 2009 Depeche Mode were live in Sofia.

For many years, the cosmopolitan Bulgarian holiday City of Varna has hosted a Summer Arts Festival with many events taking place outdoors in its Sea Gardens.  Jazz, operatic and chamber music performances attract some of the World’s finest orchestras and companies.  There is also an international film festival during the month of August and indoor and outdoor theatre performances throughout the summer.

Bulgarians are very proud of their traditional culture and it is not unusual for an impromptu song and dance performance to take place in local restaurants.  Other restaurants have regular performances of Bulgarian music and dance and even walking on hot coals! (see local information)
